You just don't feel the same type of freedom when you're making a post on Reddit, compared to making a post here on 4chan. That about sums up why I'm not a fan of Reddit. It's nice to lurk sometimes, especially since they have very specific subreddits for almost everything, but at the end of the day, I'd pick 4chan over Reddit 99% of the time.

Let's take Trump for example (I'm not trying to bring politics into this, just an example). It's a pretty popular opinion to dislike Trump and shit on him. A post about how shitty Trump is will likely get tons of upvotes because it's a popular opinion. This motivates people to make posts about how bad Trump is purely for karma gain, even though in reality, they might not even have an opinion about him. That kind of shit kills the genuineness of the website.

I browse reddit for those very specific subreddits, too.
The thing that still gets me about 4chan a little bit is the level in which you have to become familiar with the website, it's a weird, crazy place.
However this is something that 4chan (and 8 and depreschan etc.) have over something like reddit, is that they are and they have a very definitive crazy, slightly misinterpreted counter-culture. That, particularly is the reason I keep coming back and what makes being here so fun for me, is that even though there are no accounts, and nearly no personal recognition of almost any sort 9001% of the time, we are still a massively creative, ever evolving internet-culture.
And honestly, probably one of the biggest, most influential ones on the face of the planet right now.
