Dubs if it's a good dub. Which is pretty much exclusive to YYH and FMA:B.

good dubs are rare, but when done right they are superior choice because:
-lots of thought going into voice talent
-lots of thought going into rewriting lines to suit the western audiences
-translated Japanese texts

Subs unless you're autistic or a spic

Anime that isn't set in Japan or doesn't have lots of Japanese speakers is okay dubbed. Some people are too stubborn to ever watch a dub even when the dubs are more fitting.

I usually go with dubbed because i put it on in the background while doing other things. Most of the shit i download is dual audio though so if i want to i can go subbed.

anything before 2000 is worth it with a dub, after subs free

if you don't know moon runes, subs are generally the closest you're going to get to the real nuance of what the source material was trying to get across

some dubs are okay, but not many, like unless its a pretty mainstream anime its dub will most likely be total shit because random fan dubbers do it

honestly I'd love to just know japanese so I could understand their style of kanji word play because it seems like some anime have some clever ideas, but something is always lost in translation, but fuck that not going to put time into learning japanese just so I can appreciate anime I already hardly watch to a deeper extent

How laughable. I was in my apartment's gym one night so I put adult swim on, and within 2 minutes I was laughing at how bad the dub was. Literally the only halfway decent voice was Erwin's and his dub VA doesn't hold a candle to Daisuke Ono.
