Anyone else feel like their intelligence has recessed since leaving school and living the life of a depressed neet? Today, I was trying to solve a math question (about a grade 10 level) and kept making stupid mistake after mistake. It made me realize that not only will I never be socially fit for a job but I've prettty much become retarded as well. Not so retarded that I can live in blissful ignorance, but retarded enough that I know I am and can't function.
I don't think that means your intelligence has recessed. math is a skill like any other and if you don't do it for a while your ability with it fades. you've just forgotten the formulas and whatnot.

you don't need that kind of knowledge anyway in life, unless your job requires it
Yes. I feel increasingly dumber by the day. I feel like I lose 2-3 IQ points a year.
