I'm not sure, but I think it's nowadays fashionable to shave everything except facial hair, which is the complete opposite of what was trendy last decade.

No one really knows. What if you go swimming or something and people see you? Guys would call you gay if you shave, but girls would think you're gross if you don't. It's just easier staying inside all day and not caring about other people.
