I don't know if it's purely sexual though. I think initially it might have been but it feels like it's pierce through my subconscious. These thoughts of myself as a woman give me more of an "inner peace" than sexual arousal, but then I feel disgusted by it.

How do I fix something like this?

They have it easy in various ways, and a woman can expect to be inherently valued and be taken care of whereas a man is not going to get nearly the same support or admiration just for existing. Beyond this, as a man, it's easy to be charmed by femininity such that you fetishize it, and that can lead to wanting to become a part of it, e.g. "I want to be the little girl."

For these reasons I think it's very easy to sympathize with the OP, but for me and many others it's not a strong psychological hang-up, it's just that on a practical level I figure that I would have been much better off being the average girl than being the average male as I am.
