"Acceptance" of depression for example has lead to little more sympathy if you explain that you're depressed and have to chug down pills to not try and top yourself. If anything as it's become more normalised the expectation you can just work around it becomes much larger.

Normies have this thing where they have to explore uncharted territory in their lives by making it light hearted and humorous.
