>drink some alcohol for the first time in forever
>awful headache now 5 hours later
will this happen every time I drink?
How much alcohol?
Most health authorities recommend no more than 2-4 drinks in one day at the most. More than that is considered binging.
Yeah that might seem weird to the guys here who down a 12 pack a day, but those are the last guys you want to talk to about healthy alcohol consumption.

Stay hydrated you fucking mongol
>tfw your 72 year old dad tells you that you should slow down drinking
>tfw you grew up with your dad drinking, bare minimum, 30 beers a day
>tfw when you realize you're the youngest of four children (by a decade), the only unmarried one, the only alcoholic and the only one who lives at home
>tfw you've shown up for a job you've only had for 5 months hungover and, some days, arguably still drunk, every day and received 2 raises and are on okay terms with the owner
I'm only at about 10 drinks (including beer and whiskey) a day, but some days it exceeds 30. I-I'll be okay, r-right guys?
Also, >>38472126 here. Sorry to hijack your thread, OP, but I didn't want to post my alcohol feels as a new thread when an alcohol feels thread exists.
To answer your question, in my experience, alcohol headaches (headaches, not hangovers, which I don't really experience anymore) happen when you're dehydrated. Although I mainly drink beer, one of the advantages of hard liquor is that I drink more water, which absolutely negates the alcohol headache. In other words, drink water, you fucking mong. Pour pure alcohol on a surface and watch how quick it will evaporate. Moreover, because alcohol dehydrates so quickly, it removes vitamins and minerals from your body, since most are water soluble and leave your body with water (talking out of my ass here, but I would bet there's science behind this). Because of this phenomena, I'm a huge fan of vegetable juice as a breakfast, as it seems to rehydrate me, because it's full of water, vitamins and water. But, all that said, for specifically headaches, just drink some water. And maybe take a multivitamin.

No, you won't. You are poisoning your liver and kidneys, greatly increasing your risk of cancer, and setting yourself up for massive nutritional deficiencies that could lead to brain damage. Eventually you are likely to lose your sense of taste due to zinc deficiency as well.

Drink water when you drink alcohol, 200ml for every standard drink of alcohol you take.
And switch to drinking vodka or everclear for lower intensity hangover. dark liquor and various wines or beers have congeners in much higher concentration than clear (and purer) alcoholic beverages and certain congeners intensify hangover dramatically.

Cancer bothers me, since my maternal side contains many smokers, but from what I've seen and heard, the biggest risk is skin cancer. Thankfully, I avoid the the sun like it's the plague, and I avoid combustible nicotine. And before you mention vitamin D deficiency being worsened by alcohol, I'm a ginger.
Loss of taste, on the other hand, seems like something that could happen.

No, your tolerance goes up for it. Just the most delicate brain cells have to die first OP, then you'll be cured of that.
>>38471424
Yeah my tolerance has been going down instead of up for some reason, it's fucking annoying.
Can't even get drunk without a killer hangover and anxiety now
>>38471424
2:1 water to alochol ratio
make sure u eat before u drink also. something heavy in carbs and slow down the alcohol absorption rate

if you continue like this you re gonna die in no time.
Enjoy your trip as you can tho, but it wont be very long.

That's fine with me. I just taught my mother how a right-handed person plays Tetris, so I feel like my trip has gone on long enough. She always go for one line at a time without realizing that a Tetris is worth more. Maybe someday I'll explain a T-Spin.
