I've been noticing my sleep patterns are getting shorter and shorter. It started about two weeks ago and has quickly gotten worse, to where I once got 12+ hours of good sleep and now only require 5 to feel well rested. This is also after pulling 24 hours awake.
Some would say this allows for more time doing things you enjoy, but I know that I may feel well rested after waking up, but give it 4 hours and I'll feel exhausted. I force myself to stay awake so I can keep my sleep schedule on track which makes me deprived, thus repeating the cycle. Is this a side-effect of getting older? Keep in mind I'm only 20.
