I almost always use one of these and put it away after I finish checking out at the self-checkout register. About the only time I use a cart is when they have 2 liter colas on sale and I'm buying 6-12 at a time, and in that case I put the cart in the corral like a civilized human being. People that leave them in the parking lot are pieces of shit. Cart wranglers don't immediately run after abandoned carts like tennis ballsmen after a stray ball, so they just sit there making it a hassle for people trying to park.
