How old were you when you got your drivers permit? I just passed it today at 19 years old.
Now I gotta get my license.

Didn't get my license until I was 22. Laziness and all that.

Just over 17, minimum age for driving alone on public roads is 18.
I got my learner's permit at 17. I'm 27 now and still don't have my license.
I was 29.
A car is not very useful where I live.
passed jan last year

Permit at 16, license as soon as I turned 17. I don't understand the appeal of waiting for it. So many kids now are getting their permit at 17, 18, 19 for what? Going for drives alone without any purpose besides getting away is one of the few things I can say I enjoy.
My parents didn't want to shell out for a learners permit so I got a provisional at 17, 6 months before my birthday, then I took my written and driving test one month after my 18th birthday.
I live in the middle of nowhere so you have to know how to drive/own a car to be able to work or go to school.
I've literally only just applied for my provisional and I'm 21.
I genuinely have had no need to drive or obtain it but since I'm out of Uni I decided to apply for it since it's useful and shit.
>tfw 20 and still can't drive
But the only places I ever go are to university, gym, and home so that's my excuse. Plus public transportation is actually really good in my city
Learner's permit at 14. Licensed and driving manual transmission at 15.
>21
>still no permit
