i honestly don't think i've ever met another alcoholic in my life. i also don't think i've met someone who is as open or as able to accept drugs as i am.

like, the fuck man? I read all these things about how addiction is such a plague. where the fuck are these people? they sound like some pretty cool bros, yet i have no clue how to meet them.

Well, I don't *want* to be an alcoholic and I think I might have a serious chance at becoming one if I take up drinking as a habit so I try to steer clear from it. I've seen first-hand what out of control addictions lead to and it's really something I don't want for myself, but each to their own.

I've tries weed 2 years ago, then I tried it again 1 week later, then again 3 days later, long story short I ended up spending 1.5 years of my life permabaked. I've quit it 8 months ago for sure, and now I know Im not able to handle any drug not even as a one-timer.

Well, at least I did not start out as an alcoholic.

My dad have been heavy into MMOs my entire life. My whole childhood was him playing Everquest. I've seen him go through so many mmos and I can always see him in his computer room, in his chair, back to me, clear as day in my head. I knew I got my vidja addiction from him.

I'm kind of growing out of it though. Either that or it's because I'm strictly console and games are getting shittier and shittier.

Alcoholism runs in my family too but I was smart enough to never start, I'll drink on occassion when it calls for it but that sort of thing happens pretty rarely
