I'm not emotionally bankrupt, I just like choose-your-own-adventure style games.

You're lucky anon. I didn't even notice I was balding until I had lost most of the hair on my head. Took my mom asking me if I was growing my hair out to try to cover it up. Broke down and cried all night. It's been 2 years. This is the cause of most of my depression. Tried going bald but I look like a cancer patient.

I'm not actually going to kill myself.

Whenever things go wrong, I always tell myself it's alright because I'll be dead soon. But I'm actually terrified of death and am too much of a coward to kill myself. Assuming no early tragedy kills me young, I'll grow older and more depressed until I'm a lonely old man.

Kick box, cycle, hang from a pull up bar. Your plates in your legs don't start to solidify until you're mid-20's. You'll get maybe 2 inches, but that's better than nothing.
