So far it's been pretty great. I went abroad for a month and got some overseas teaching experience (even if it was just service learning). I've been back and now I'm working at a good-paying job, which has payed back my entire trip cost in only a month.

Just changed my major too, to something that will get me better job opportunities. Bad news is, I'll have to stay a couple extra years, though I can skip the bullshit electives since I took them all in my freshman year.

I guess the expectations and reality are the same, really.

It has been all right. Been a while since I've had this much downtime. I'm handling it better than I expected, I thought I'd go a bit nuts from not having something needing to be done every day.

I want College classes to start again. At least I lost 12 kg since I came here.

That pic is me. My eye bags are black now. I haven't slept properly for 6 months. I don't even need sleep anymore it feels like, I just hit a baseline level of energy and I feel consistently exhausted through the day. But it's manageable with food and rest.

i took intermediate accounting 1 & cost/management accounting in 6 weeks. it sucked but it was bearable.

im now taking intermediate accounting II & federal taxation in 6 weeks. it REALLY fucking sucks. bonds, stock warrants, stock options, convertible debt, revenue recognition, etc. can all lick my FUCKING ASSHOLE. tax isn't bad, it's just really fucking boring and an autistic memorization-fest.
