I receive good advice but I do nothing and I do not change as a person. Why?

Many pieces of advice
>How to start an exercise routine and stick with it
>How to get past a shitty childhood
>How to spend less time on the computer
>How to defeat old habits
>How to create new habits
>How to increase willpower
>What foods to eat
>How to self-discipline
>How not to be such a colossal fuckup
etc. etc., so on and so forth, my response is usually a halfhearted attempt but I always go back to being the same piece of shit I've always been.
