Women have always treated me like a subhuman so my femdom fetish stems from the fact that I want to 'own' that mistreatment. If I can own what they do to me, and be happy, and enjoy it, then they can't harm me anymore.

Most of the people into that stuff tend to not have that much experience with women, and thus view them as kind of intimidating or powerful. So not only does it just already play into their own regular perception of women, but it also provides a kind of comfort in the sense that the women taking charge gets rid of some of the pressure or nervousness they might get from interacting with women irl.

Also there's just the pretty standard attraction in seeing someone be confident or forward with their desires. Even though some femdom is ostensibly about the woman humiliating the man, there is a kind of seemingly paradoxical situation at play where technically the woman does "desire" the man. I imagine women who are into more dominant men get the same kind of satisfaction from feeling "wanted".

It just depends, porn addiction does cause fetishes to become more intense and extreme, but it'll usually subside to some extent once they start having actual sex. Doesn't mean it'll completely go away, I mean honestly a lot of men are in some way attracted to dominant or sexually forward women, it's not all that crazy or weird in moderate amounts.
