Do you have any interests?
Does anyone else feel worthless because they don't have any interests?
Whenever I see someone mention something they like, I start feeling worthless and I want to die. It's at its worst when they recommend me something and I just can't fathom the fact that I'd do it.
Any tiny thing, from hobbies to general knowledge. For example, someone told me they listen to a podcast and it crushed me. I realized that I have no interest in it. I don't listen to podcasts and the topic of that one didn't appeal to me. What made it worse is the fact that it was a general one, something about life in the US.
I don't know. I don't feel like a proper person person of this. I feel lame and worthless and it's giving me painful despair whenever I realize that I never had any interests or that it feels like a chore engaging in conversation with other people about it.

My only real interest is music. I like reading as well. My days at the moment consist of alternating between listening to albums, reading whatever book I'm on and watching TV. I am a boring, sad and lonely person.

You do have interests. They're just not conventional. There are things you do in your free time. Maybe they are things you can't talk about it, like 4chan, in that case just lie.
You seem like a thoughtful person. I, too, spend a lot of time doing nothing, just lost in my consciousness. Its hard to find people like that so I talk about shit I pretend to like until I have enough trust with someone. Most people are lame as fuck anyways and most of their "interests" are consuming various forms of media.

That bugs me. Why do people say reading is an interest? It can't be. Reading is a tool you do to inform yourself about certain things that interest you. You don't read just because you like glancing over letters and forming words out of them. You read because the content interests you.

I actually despise 4chan. The only reason I've been using this website for years was because it's convenient to post on (no logging in) and the anonymity.
I don't think I've ever had any interests. I mostly faked everything and only achieved superficial levels of knowledge in everything. Not a master of anything, but not even a jack of all trades.
