Actually it's the employers that are stealing by refusing to pay a proper wage
>inb4 a bunch of people make very strong cases about how Americans are greedy, selfish, apathetic pieces of shit and nothing more using very fancy, misleading language

>low wage is not proper wage
Tipping is just about giving respect for good service. What are you talking about?

Due to the assumption of regular tip inclusion, many food service employers in the US don't pay full wages to waiters/waitresses.

Yes, but they're required to make it up to the employee if their total wage + tips comes in under minimum wage.
Regardless, tipping culture is stupid.
Here's a tip. Get a real job. Lole
>tfw i only go out to eat solely to get a power trip from not tipping

I tipped 25% on an $80 bill last Saturday. Would have gone lower but my gf was feeling really down and the waitress made her feel better.
Why do servers feel entitled to extra money? The worst employees, by far.
I live in Ireland and we get paid a proper wage here, so in turn, we are happier and give/get better service.
tl:dr your way of tipping fucking sucks
