I never really thought about it but the snapping sound is actually the sound of your finger hitting your hand

I have no idea how to snap. Is it the thumb hitting the index finger that makes the sound?

I can't whistle. I think it's because of the gap between my teeth inb4. That helps if it did then why can't I whistle then
