Being clingy is literally the worst personality trait any human can have. Grow up and realize that people need some space to keep themselves sane. Two clingy people in a relationship is the most unhealthy way to live a life.
You've seen them too. Those couples who have to go and do literally everything together. They become so codependent on one another that they lose their self worth.
I had a friend who got married and the very day he did, he became a slave to his wife. We couldn't hangout somewhere without his wife being with us 24/7. No opinion of his own could be made without approval from his wife. He would invite me to hangout just so he could have someone else to talk to for once.

I'm not sure. I have just always been this way. When I was four or five and my parents needed to go somewhere when we were in the middle of playing, I would grab onto their leg and refuse to let go. But anon, you gotta know that there's nothing wrong with you. The world doesn't have enough loving people. Nobody hates you for the positivity you bring, they just can't always return the favour. You don't have to go cold fish but maybe just tweak your methodology. If you didn't beg for them to stay but said instead "thank you for spending time with me" that can express your love just as much.

I've always been incredibly clingy with others, it'd be nice if someone was that way with me for a change.

I've made exactly 2 good friends from all the years I've ever been here (since /r9k/ first started). Everyone here is dysfunctional (including me). To be honest, it would probably be better to find real life meetups about your hobbies, even if they're just shitty weeaboo meetups to watch anime. It's just really hard to put yourself out there even if you know it's going to be better for you and you're way more likely to make actual friends instead of just passing acquaintances with other anxious people who will take offense or misinterpret something and then block you after a week or so.
