how did you get on r9k? i dont even remember anymore
i know how i got on 4chan but r9k? odd.
yeah i don't remember either. this place used to be way more hostile and horrible
I got on /r9k/ when /b/ went to shit.
/b/ is just shitty porn threads now
>>38312273
Used to browse /b/, got tired of the porn and Facebook stuff. When they put porn ads up I got paranoid about browsing it on school Wi-Fi
Thought /r9k/ would be cleaner. I like it more here, it's more comfy and you can have more meaningful conversations, not just memes back and forth

Banned leddit from trying to redpill on roasties and unironically hating blacks while being a republican. This is the only place I can actually talk about shit without getting a thousand comments like
>le incel drumpfy derp XD racist
>>38312273
I can't remember either.
Wait, shit, is that why we're all still here? Did we forget where the door out was?

>/pol/
>/r9k/

Am I going forward or back?

If you can figure out which direction we're headed let us know. This place gets kind of loopy on you after too long.

For me, /b/ was getting boring and I couldn't wank all the time on /s/, so I was looking at the boards list and saw "ROBOT9001". I thought to myself, "whoa, a board for robotics".
I don't even remember how many years ago that was. Many, that's all I know. I kept leaving and coming back here over the years and it just keeps getting worse and worse.

>I thought to myself, "whoa, a board for robotics".
You are truly the most innocent of us all, anon. Leave now and go back to your pleasant meadows while you still have hope left in your heart.

I got blacked out drunk one night an when I came to this board was open on my screen. I'd never even heard of 4chan before then. That was 8 years ago.

Discovered 4chan through A news article about trump, disgusted by pol and b, eventually found r9k. Realized I had a lot of opinions and issues common with people here (despite having friends and doing alright in uni) and enjoyed some of the content.
Lurked until April, and now I post

>go back to your pleasant meadows while you still have hope left in your heart
It's odd that you should say that. I actually used to live near meadows and had a lot of hope in my heart. Now I barely have any hope left.
