anyone else feel demotivated and numb during the summer but alive during winter?
I've noticed this cycle repeating for years now. I always feel great during Winter and usually get something productive done during it (learn a new skill), but even though I much more free time over the summer, I just end up feeling like shit and getting nothing done. I no interest in escapism either, I feel too numb to enjoy it.
I remember some anon said something about depression being worse during the summer because of energy or something

I know suicide is a lot more common during the summer because people are more motivated but that's it.
But if what you're saying isn't that, then hmm, that's interesting.

yes. just like normies get seasonal disorder robots the opposite, we thrive without the sun. normies like the sun and warm? we like the dark and cold. ask any doctor and some people just have a circadian rhythm tuned opposite of the solar cycle.

For me time seems to pass faster during the summer. I guess because it's warm and im outside more often. I still don't have any friends to enjoy doing things with but being able to get out and go a few places with family is nice.
Over the winter i actually got motivated and started looking for a job. Told myself that by summer i would have a job no matter what. Finally did land a job in march. I learned a valuble lesson. Just don't give up. Giving up is really the only way you lose in life. You have to keep trying no matter what. Don't let failure stop you. You will fail. Just accept it and move on.
