He made the current /pol/ threatening to delete it for good "if it ever becomes stormfront 2.0 again". Unsurprisingly, it still became a pit of racist and white supremacist propaganda.

The US elections where the turning point since Hillary was such a bad candidate that most 4channers rallied for Trump and memeposted. Somewhere down the line, the stormfront propaganda was absorbed by some of the the unsuspecting anons which is why /pol/ has been leaking to other boards.

I should have written which he ended "as well" or something. But I tried to include that. What I don't get is why moot never bothered to simply create two boards with different topics and stricter rules as opposed to struggling to contain a single board.

Anons from all across 4chan flocked to /pol/ for election shenanigans and a lot of people carried it back to their home boards in the off time, similar to what happened to /v/ during GG. Really it's weird when people act like /pol/ is raiding or actively invading their board instead of just indoctrinating their fellow posters the same way they were.
