I don't buy in to the whole "Xanax is responsible for immature choices" wave. The whole stigma surrounding xanax as being evil is the wrong way to look at it. The drug itself is relatively safer than the majority of drugs out there, it is very difficult to actually OD on Xanax. The problem as always lies in the culture where getting fucked up and retarded is deemed as being "cool" to do. In a society that drinks alcohol to have fun it's pretty hypocritical to paint a different drug that is safer as being wrong to do. There are horror stories for every recreational drug out there, but then there are tons of responsible people who take Xanax as prescribed for their whole lives and haven't encountered any problems. This is a bigger issue that has time after time again been failed to be addressed correctly.
I have never heard of people taking Xanax for more than a year without fucking up their life.
