Yeah that was it, it was playing dead. I could have sworn it wasn't alive, it didn't seem to have a heartbeat or anything and didn't move at all when I poked it or snapped my fingers around it.
I put it back in the terrarium to figure out what to do with it, and when I went back to the room to throw it in the garbage it was curled up in the corner.
Still, what a shit animal, I don't understand why anyone would think this is a good pet when all it does it sleep, eat and pretend to be dead.
