Also, are you supposed to have tiny hairs on your head? When I was younger, I remember running my fingers through my hair and feeling like something was poking me. Were those tiny hairs who just started growing?

At the moment the best way to restore a hairline is with transplant. The problem is that you only have a limited number of donor hairs. Once follicle cloning is perfected for humans (already done for animals) they should, in theory, be able to grow clones of your hair in a dish and implant them in your scalp giving you as much hair as you like.

I'm guessing this tech will appear by 2030 or 2040.
