I dunno mate, I blame /pol/ becoming the new /b/, coming to 4chan has become about having edgy political opinions, rather than just being edgy for fun. Then since this behavior is opinion/ideal based rather than enjoyment based, it creates toxic bullshit whenever these people see something that doesn't line up with it. I'm not syaing you have to like, enjoy, or even accept traps, I just think that derailing cometely unrelated threads when even vaguely gay/trans shit comes up is beyond annoying, and intentionally going into the threads just to get mad is beyond retarded.
