I only go to the smaller subreddits and even then reddit can get pretty irritating. Actual Reddit mod of 6+ years here. Reddit is absolutely garbage for dicussing anything. The second someone posts a comment out of the range of "approved normie conversation" it gets reported and downvoted to complete shit immediately. I see the back end where all of those shitposts with "niggers xd" end up. If it's left up for more than a few hours you'll start seeing reports saying "really mods?" and things of that nature.

The fact that every account has a username attached to it means, unless you made a novelty one-off account, that it's probably a username that person uses on other sites and it can be traced back, so you can't run the risk of posting anything offensive just in case someone decides to doxx you.
