You can be proactive but I've only had luck fall into my lap. You can put yourself into more situations but that never worked for me. What I'm trying to say is that I know I have to wait but at least I know I have potential even though it feels like I don't most of the time. Love finds you and I don't think it's that normal for guys to always have gfs anymore, at least not a gf you actually care about (which is probably why I've only dated a few girls).
