I hate him and it takes an EXTREME level of obliviousness to not see that he is an extraordinarily genius person. Is it possible to be solely IN with no 4-letter type? I easily cycle between all four INs multiple times per day based on health and mood. This is one of my complaints about the MBTI, people are not static in their personality type.

My mother is ENFP and my father is apparently INFJ, although I think he's actually INTJ - he's quiet most of the time and always has a solution for any problem.

They never understood why I never did chores when asked; I usually do them when I felt like it.

I find my mom to be annoying, always wanting my attention, and my dad stern, yet fair; he seems to want to question everything we discuss and I usually don't know how to answer and it caused me to keep my distance from him. If I wanted to ask him about how he would fix a car, since I'd like to hear his experience (he worked on our cars when I was growing up), he would tell me to look in the repair manual, which I always knew, but figured he would have a unique way; I ended up no longer seeking his advice on anything because of shit like this and just do things on my own and they wonder why I keep my distance from them - their way in having me learn how to do things myself has affected our relationship; it's still good, just not as good as it could have.
