>get that and only that
>install it
>expect 60+ fps, ultra settings, ect
>Usually get 40-50 in most games
>watch other benchmarks with people getting 100+ fps
>confused as to why that is
>time passes, learn more about computers
>eventually know most about them
>check cpu
>fx-4130

>time passes, accept that I'll have to continue to have worlds largest bottleneck
>tech savvy friend has parts they have no use for, offers them to me

>shuffle through them, nothing really useful
>find I7 along with motherboard

>set everything up, plug in all the cables and whatnot
>motherboard doesn't recognize GPU
>my hopes of getting a good cpu soon die
>can't afford a new motherboard, pcie slot repair would cost just as much, if not more than the board
>I7 sitting on top of desk, taunting me every time I glance at it
>I get about 20-30 fps in cpu intensive games
>about the same as console fps, just have better graphics
