Id probably tell my self to tell my parents and highschool teachers to fuck themselves, and ignore going to uni and go to tradeschool instead because you'll actually end up enjoying what the fuck you're doing and work in an environment that you like.

Spent 4 years in uni getting a CS degree, got a job doing IT at an office; fell into depression where I was day drinking everyday debating whether or not to kill myself. Ended up moving back home and getting a job a year after moving back home at a factory(small town with very little opportunity job wise). Actually enjoyed being around people for one of the first times in my life, just do to all the ball busting that went on. Eventually got offered an apprenticeship been doing that ever since, probably one of the best choices I've made. Machining things is so fucking satisfying.
