There's really nothing that spurrs self improvement like heart break, huh?

You break something or even worse - lose s hike from getting fired from a job etc...

...Yeah, it's a thing where you learn how to do a particular thing better, but heart break forces you to introspectively understand yourself like never before, and improve on yourself entirely until you get to where you want to be.


You can make an argument that one isn't a real adult until he experienced heart break, even.
