>no water
>trees and shit all around my front yard
>call my manager at the grocery store to tell her I can't come in today
>"and you can't come in because of that?"
>implies that if I don't come into tomorrow that I'll be fired

What the hell is wrong with retail workers? I could have lost my house in a fire and they would still expect me to come in. I also worked at several good jobs and they basically told me that unless I was throwing up all day that I wasn't sick enough to skip work.
