theres two flash game i played on kongregate or miniclip or something like that in the early 2000's
one was a game where you played as a ninja with one of those asian strawhats and it had a pretty long sequence of worlds and bosses, one was on a ghost ship, it was hard compared to other flash games
the other was a 2d shooter where you played as a kid with a machinegun killing animal like enemies across plains, tundra etc

I only had one friend that played it once with me in our own server however he was playing it on a laptop so he was constantly lagging out.

Might not seem that long ago but the game was at the height of it's popularity around 2005 and I remember many good times playing it into the early hours in servers with 100+ people in. Good times that are now gone

Been playing this again lately, remember it being one of my favorite games during childhood. My dad never really let me play shooting games except for this one, probably because he loves Tom Clancy and it was more focused on the stealth rather than shooting everything that moves.

Of course, playing it today makes me realize where the fucked up a lot.

>Guards are rock stupid and walk right past you, and the levels seem almost built around their stupidity, shit that shouldn't work does work
>Defusing wall mines are either complete hit or miss, either you defuse it successfully or go up in a blaze of glory

The main Mysims games were great man. Agents and Kingdom were my favorites of course. I remember I would always do my best to edit every character's house I found to suite them the best.
Hell, I even liked the original and the racing game.

I never had a console growing up but we had a decent family computer since my dad needed it for work. On the days he worked late, I got to play all day after school

My dad pirated shit like old school Prince of Persia (90s game) and bought these compilation CDs from the mall that had multiple games and demos on them. This single CD was like 500 hours of my childhood. Also played Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem, Quake, Doom, Red Alert, other games like that as a 5 - 10 year old.
