I did it for 6 weeks, worst experience of my life

>"Some people bring their own" I say and hand her the receipt
>"I don't want this" and she hands me the receipt back
>Throw it in the bin and turn to the next customer
>"HAVE YOU GOT AN ATTITUDE WITH ME?!"

i work customer service in a call centre. it's shitty but at least i dont have to talk to people face to face.

still though, talking to 80 customers a day with a fair few irate people is not fun at all

Been doing CS for 2 years now for an online trading company. Thankfully no face to face meetups but it's still shit and boring. The volume died down significantly, so now I can spend hours browsing here and not doing anything with my life. It pays well though, so I'm reluctant to leave
