I don't think we will be destroyed or die out or anything like that, if you consider fertility rates most countries outside Africa are seeing a very large decline. The issue is that there aren't many Europeans relative to the world population in the first place, and if UN statistics are right then Africa will explode in the next few decades and create a real headache for the whole planet. I guess contraceptives and abortion are the only way to prevent that
