I was 13 when I realized that killing myself could be the only way my story ended. My great grandfather went through a very specific experience as did my grandfather and my father. So I've always felt like I've been trapped in an endless cycle being passed down through generations like some sort of curse. So I've made it my duty to make sure I close the loop so hopefully no one else has to go through it. I decided I'd end my life when I was 27 which was the age my father was when I was born.

You don't need a mirror. Just point back and up like pic related, but maybe a bit higher. Use a 12 gauge slug. 12 gauges are very common and very cheap, at least if you're American. This will destroy the brain stem and pretty much guarantee instant death. If by some miracle you didn't die instantly, you would be unconscious and bleed to death within minutes, so you still wouldn't feel a thing. Even if you did this on the operating table with doctors prepped and ready to operate they wouldn't be able to save you.
