I have a theory on why newfags are so cancerous now.
Think about it, before individual boards started getting a lot of attention on social media(specifically, /r9k/), if a newfag wanted to browse 4chan, they would almost always start on /b/, sometimes /a/. On /b/, they would get desensitized to all the "fucked up" stuff on here, like futa, gore, loli, etc. They would learn the lingo, and come to feel a weird sense of community with other degenerate autists, then branch out into other boards to talk about hobbies with other degenerate autists. /r9k/ was turned into a kind of new /b/ with less porn, where anons who have been down the rabbit hole a bit can talk about how their lives are fucked up. Now, normalfags will see a funny reddit post that mentions /r9k/, or /fit/, or /k/, etc, and just go straight to that board, without adapting to the image board culture, without becoming degenerate autists first.
What do you guys think?
