The problem is, you thought having a gf would solve your problems.
A boyfriend/girlfriend relationship brings baggage from both sides of the relationship, and while it's a mutual thing, they're not there exclusively to solve your problems.
Improve yourself a little before you get one, and you'll be happier.

I can tell my robot (prior to me) boyfriend is mentally fucked up and being with me makes him feel panicked and he keeps leaving me but coming back because he loves me. I'd think it was because he's lonely that he comes back except that he doesn't like being in love because it makes him feel mentally weak.
I love him so much. I wish he was able to open up more easily and not fear that I'd pull the rug out from under him. I try to be understanding and not get upset when he yells at me sometimes and hides away awhile.
I hope I don't put too much weight on him, I just want him to be happy and I hope it can be with me.
