I'm an alcoholic and when I quit I realized I lost out on so much social activities. No bars, sporting events, Concerts, parties, hell even board game parties cause people will look at you funny when you aren't drinking. . Which caused me to lose a lot of friends. Sad to say but a lot of social shit involves drinking.
