r9k, I feel hopeless.
I think of suicide a lot. I hate myself. When I socialize I embarrass myself or get asked about my personal life which I'm very ashamed of.
I need to start doing stuff with my life but my problems feel so big. I want to give up now.

I'm a worthless dropout, no money, haven't had a job in months. I'm 19.
I should be a busy person right now but its hard to make myself do simple shit like laundry, or brush my teeth. I'm actually a failure and I have no motivation to fix anything, I just want to sleep all day.

I'm 22 and dropped out of uni twice. Now I'm going to do it a third time if I can't get my will back. You're still young, so I'd say hang in there a while longer. I can't give you much advice because, as I said, I'm a failure too. Just know you're not the only one going through this.

Checked. Also, OP, check out what groups are available in your area. I've been going to one for depression pretty regularly, and it's helped a lot. Get meds sorted out. Get a psychologist. See your doctor so he can hook you up with the above. We're all going to make it bruh.

I know how you feel. It's easy to feel helpless after life kicks you down, and trying to just power through it is often ineffective. I agree with others that therapy would definitely be effective, but understand that part if the reason you feel depressed is that, frankly, your situation is depressing right now. Your goal should be to get to a point in therapy where you can take some action to change your life.
As someone who felt similar to what you're describing only a couple of years ago, even the suicidal ideation, I think you would be surprised at how much better you feel when your life starts to change.
