Definitely more of the 00s. I was born in 92 and barely remember the 90s that much.

I mean I was born in 96, so I associate that first half with my "childhood" and the second half with my preteen/teen years.

Though I continued playing yugioh until I was like 17.

I was born in 1987, and the last year that really feels like childhood is either 1998 (a definite) or 1999 (a maybe). I'd imagine the 2000s are the same way for 1997 borns. To me, 1998 is as firmly childhood as 1993.

I (the 1987 poster) put my claim on childhood stuff as running from about 1992 to 1998. There were certainly things I enjoyed from before, but I don't associate them with childhood since I don't remember them, ie the 1989 Batman movie which I apparently really liked when I was two.

1998 here, I associate my childhood more with PS2, flashgames and spiky hair. 2000-2006 was kinda the end of widespread violence in schools as well so no gay bashing.

I remember my first console was an Xbox that my cousins gave to my sister for her birthday, a little bit after the 360 came out.

holy shit I spent so much of my life on that thing, still use it today also.
