Do you think homer simpson wants to go to work?

But he still goes anyways. If someone that lazy can go to work so can you.
>>
>>38119865
homer has a comfy job where he sits in a room and pushes buttons

I have a shit job where I have to make eye contact and deal with people and get cursed out when I mess up
>>
>>38119873
Yea alright. Work can suck. GL bud.
>>
>>38119883
>Work can suck
WORK DOES SUCK
>>
>>38119859
Not for me; I'm a NEET. Every day sucks, but none are hard.
>>
>>38119891
For some, sure. Work can also be fun. Meaningful.
>>
>>38119985
>Work can also be fun. Meaningful.
maybe if you're good at something or have interests or a passion

I don't, so work is agony, and I'm not smart or ambitious so I can only work the most humiliating mind-numbing jobs

Set goals figgit.
week 1:clean your room
week 2:go to the barber and get a decent haircut (please wash your hair before)
week 3: consider doing a hobby
You know, go gradually, your bidy releases endorphin when you accomplish something.
>>
>>38120134
>week 3: consider doing a hobby
I can't just like something apropos of nothing
>>
>>38120143
What did you try and for how long did you try ? Were you in a positive mindset ? Be honest.
>>
>>38120185
I can't just be in a positive mindset apropos of nothing
>>
>>38120134
week 1: It's pretty damn clean already
week 2: I haven't gotten a haircut in like 2 months so it's getting a little too long, but I get a pretty good haircut when I go. I'm not retarded and neglect to wash my hair prior.
week 3: This is a much bigger goal than the other two, but it makes sense to start out with the easier stuff. I've gotta do this, but my motivation to do everything that requires effort is practically nonexistent. I'm trying to go on a bike ride every day, but that feels like a total dead end.

I'm the person you responded to btw.
>>
>>38120243
Alright. I didnnt want to make you seem like a fat neckbeard or whatever but that's what most neets usually are. And for some of them, going out already is a big step.
I think you should try getting at it like you said (little by little). So first ride, maybe just go around your block or something to see if your bike still fits you. Adjust it if not. Then do more and more every ride, it'll become a desire, and I totally understand your lack of motivation. As we say in french, apetite comes when you eat!

I'm not offended, don't worry. Last summer I went on my longest ride ever (35 mi, or 56 km) but I still didn't feel any drive to keep going or go farther. I didn't ride very much that summer after that. Maybe I need to find something else.
>>
>>38120515
Way possible. You should maybe try kayak if that's available near where you live. I don't think it's too expensive and it's pretty comfy.

Shit i can relte too well to this.

Go to your Dr, talk about not being able to sleep, talk up your symptoms and relate them to dysfunction, hope they perscribe you pills.

I did this i was working 13/14 days a ftnight starting ant 4am and again and 2pm, same day.

I had entire nights of pacing up and down yelling at myself counting the hours to work, what id do,when ect.

I got Tamazapam and its a fucking life saver.
The only potential hicup id see from this is if you're in the US and cant afford it...
>>
>>38119847
better than me, i wish i could sleep. im tapering off years of klonopin use and the insomnia is killing me.
>>
>>38120727
What if you don't take pills? Will you die from the lack of sleep?

My problem with kayaking is that I'm exposed to the sun and I can't tell how much I'm moving on the open water since there are no points of reference for motion nearby. Also my arms get tired really quickly and I just want to rest and chill on the water.

>>38120390
Jesus Christ this is exactly me. Is there anything worse?
>>
i have a non-existent social life, so i actually look forward to going to work.
