Just finished my first day as an office drone.

It was super comfy, not sure why you guys complain about it.

Beats the shit-hellhole that is the kitchen, i was stuck in there for my whole life.

I feel as if i ascended from hell to heaven.

Being a NEET is heaven compared to both.

I have worked both as trade assistant to an electrician, and as a legal secretary.

Yes those were low-end jobs, but I observed what my bosses did in those situation's (ie the electrician, and the lawyer) and they both seemed to have worse than me, they were way more stressed and did way more work. I just assisted them with their workloads.

How did you make the switch? I've been a stocker and merchandiser for a few years and I want a sit around in an office job pretty badly
>>
my office job is great too

sit at my desk listening to mp3 player while entering records and stuff on the computer

Other human contact is other co-workers and occasionally the public but not often

>moved to a big classy restaurant
>worked my ass off, no vacations and never late
>stayed there for 11 months
>decided it's not worth the stress and pressure
>gave a 1 month notice
>arrived at the last day to fill the clearance form
>office dude was like 'lol we're not letting you go'
>literally gave me a list of other positions
>asked for the office one and took 16 days vacation
>tfw

NEET heaven is a myth anon. You either live with your parents and have everybody look down on your or you get on govt. bux which just makes you a broke ass nigga.

I have schizoid personality disorder. For me, the NEET life is god mode.

In my mind I find it difficult to comprehend people wanting to actually work.

Btw I am diagnosed and on autism bux.
>>
>>38101433
The point is that autism bux isn't really a lot of money compared some office job. I make 95k a year and do almost no real work.
>>
>>38101204
how do you get a brain dead office job with no major education?
>>
>>38101204
Its really nice, also making a lot more money makes it even better. Just started working as a SoftE and starting to realize that in two months I can have my own place, afford a GTX 1080 Ti and 4k screen, plus if I wait a bit I will be able to buy a boat.

If you have an office or work in a cubicle farm its comfy.
The trouble comes from a large chunk of offices having open desks or needing to talk to people continuously.
>>
>regular hours
>weekends and bank holidays
>listen to music/podcasts all day
>dick about on computer
Literally heaven on earth.

People who never worked kitchen/nightshifts/sales just dont know
>>
i'm going on two years of officecuck. it's not bad but everyone 40+ is a pathetic trainwreck so i know i can't do this forever of i want a life worth living. i have enough saved now to neet for a few years if i live a minimum wage lifestyle. not sure if i should though.

What kind of office job do you work that has you earning 95k.

When I talk about office jobs I'm talking about the shitty entry tier office jobs. Not some specialised engineering role in at some engineering firm that takes in people from top 5% universities.
>>
>>38101600
You can earn 95k easily in some places, its just that the cost of living is so high that you have to make that much. 100k in San Francisco is nothing because its so absurdly expensive to live there that its easy to end up living paycheck to paycheck due to living costs.
