It's another word for "attention whore". We had a self proclaimed asexual at my school in high-school, and he would bring it up ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME. Ironically, he said he was asexual, but talked about sex related things ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME as well. Really annoying people.

Anyone who brings up their sexuality unprovoked is an attention whore. People like you shove your special snowflake sexuality in everyone's faces, expecting some sort of reconciliation, or to try to play the oppressed card. Why do you people make your sexuality the center of your lives? It's so fucking shallow and annoying, so it's no wonder people like you get flack for it.

I long for intimacy, affection, romance, connection, etc, and with that comes wanting to reciprocate sex.

But the idea of sex without those things has little to no appeal to me. And these days it's so hard getting close with someone in that way without starting at sex.

I dunno if that makes me asexual or not but I simply don't have that innate need for sex, just I still desire women and find them aesthetically, romantically, and mentally attractive.
