>tfw my looks go up significantly when my hair is properly styled, but have no idea how to style it on my own

I personally style my own hair because - you know - I'm not a dirty manchild, but I have advice.
>Go to a barber and get your haircut and ask for tips and pointers about your hair and how to keep it looking good.
>Internet is a thing, you know. Look up how to shave like a normal person.
>Buy a handheld mirror and a camera and observe how your hair looks, shapes and grows.
>Shave your hair and start new. Buy some new hair care products that fit your hairstyle and monitor it's growth.
Instead of complaining on a Taiwanese sweatshop slideshow board why don't you do something about it.

I have short curly/wavy hair that doesn't do what I want it to, even when I put styling paste or mousse in it. Should I be using different products, or should I be doing something different than trying to sweep the front section up? I just want it to look good.

It's hard for anyone to give advice on this without actually seeing your hair
