>halfway through 2017
>2020 is now as close to us as the start of 2015 is
>closer to 2030 than to 2003
>Napoleon Dynamite came out in 2004
>>38076406
>2020 is now as close to us as the start of 2015 is
Jesus stop reminding us anon
>tfw gonna be 30 in two years
What the fuck, no, not like this
>>38076406
>2020 is now as close to us as the start of 2015 is
>closer to 2030 than to 2003
What
The
Fuck
>nearly 2020
>the world is really no different to how it was in 2007
the world is stagnating. technology is stagnating. humanity is stagnating.
everything is going downhill
>>38077045
Singularity soon
>>38077045
My mind is still in 2007.
>>38077045
At least generation Z wasn't self aware and capable of reproduction in 2007. They delayed /singularity/ by at least a couple years
>>38077045
Actually, the world is in a much worse shape now. It started going downhill around 04, and all went to shit in 08. The rest is history.
>>38078341
I'm, by some definitions, gen-Z and I was certainly self-aware in 2007
I think it's silly how depression inducing that simple law of nature is to some people.
Time's time, it goes on at a steady pace, never halting.
Carpe diem.
>in a year from now, people born in 2000 will be old enough to post here
>we are almost closer to 2045 than 1990
what gives?
reminder that time is a construct. years months seconds dont exist. only day and night matter
>>38078007
singularity is a meme
>>38078972
>we are almost closer to 2045 than 1990
This is spectacularly terrifying. Jesus fuck.
Another good one for me is
>in 3 years I'll be 30, but in 13 years I'll be 40
You might say, well duh, but it's really depressing knowing that in 13 years I'll be 40, it's a completely different feel from knowing that I'll be 30 in 3 years, even if one implies the other.
And if things keep going this way, I'll get to 40 without having done anything in my life.
