I actually feel better than usual since I started this. I should have started a long time ago. Feelsgoodman.

Yep, doing all the above with the addition of brain games. Tetris, Dual-n-Back. Studies back it up.
Meditation is something I want to start trying later on.

Good job! Just don't lose motivation! It's so hard to keep up with these positive habits, isn't it? Some days you feel like you have no reason to persist, and you find yourself slowly slipping into apathy... just like always, isn't it? But you can do it, I know you can! Even if you feel worthless, at least you're trying to improve, no? Even if it won't lead anywhere, you can always say you tried, right?
Just been eating like 1000 calories per day for a few months by now, its making me lose weight consistently, also reading a lot, gonna get into U next year, feeling overrall better. Probably went from 3-4/10 mood to a 6/10 wich is pretty ok in my book
I watched too much Jordon Peterson on youtube.

Nice.
I have to say, I think eating right, and waking up at a normal time for even two days in a row after being a NEET, had a great effect on me. Kinda hard to keep up though. I kept up waking up at a decent time for maybe a year or so. Lots of good changes in myself. I am doing badly right now, but I am gonna try to get back into it soon.
Even during my worst depression/laziest times, I still make myself go for a 20 minute 1.2 mile walk 6 days a week. Helps a lot. Also, many NEET's probably don't get enough sunlight. I go outside for my walks and i sometimes sit in the sun for an hour on a nice day.

Is meditation really that helpful? I always hear that but unsure how to start doing it.
