I used the same tactic to /nofap/ as I did to lessen my anxiety.

In each case when I started thinking -those- thoughts, I made my mind focus on something, anything, else.

I wanted so bad to not masturbate for 7 days. Using this exercise I went from 2-3 times a day to none at all for a whole week.

I'm using the fact that it makes me get nothing done as motivation, also it allows me to look at stuff that arouses me for as long as I want, whenever I want (or can). The rush of arousal without being able to rub one out gives me energy and at some points feels like a high.
