i literally did the exact same thing and once i realized I only wanted it because i couldnt have it and now that I did I didnt want it anymore. Sold it and got a macbook for school and couldnt be happier

How? I used to only have a crappy Core Duo laptop which had Intel GMA graphics and I was trying to play Medieval 2 Total War on it but it was predictably a slideshow (I know I'm an idiot). Soon later I got a Phenom II X4 and GTX 260 PC which made it actually enjoyable to play games. I can't imagine that a big jump similar to that would make hardly any difference to someone. The unfortunate part is that I'm stuck on a weak laptop again which is already breaking down but it's damn expensive to get a PC so I'm trying to hold out.

If you don't enjoy anything then at least choose something to do even if you don't care about it, only just so you have some sort of goal.

Maybe this is the reason that I literally cannot bring myself to watch anime or any kind of movie or playing a game without thinking that I am not doing anything worthwhile with my spare time. I always feel like shit because I literally have nothing to do and I'm not smart enough to accomplish anything in my life.

Just find the right game for yourself my man. Basically the same thing happened to me after I bought myself a new PC to play Witcher 3, after I finished it and some other smaller titles I just couldn't enjoy any game at all because it started feeling like a waste of time. Went like this for about 2 years, then unexpectedly Hollow Knight did it for me, I don't feel like I'm wasting my life away playing it cause I really enjoy it.
